The Netherlands allocated more than 4 billion euros in aid to Ukraine

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Netherlands has allocated additional funds for Ukraine. In particular, an additional 4.4 billion euros will be allocated for military and humanitarian support for Kyiv in the period 2024–2026.

"For military and humanitarian support of Ukraine in the period 2024–2026, the Cabinet of Ministers allocates an additional 4.4 billion euros," - stated in the message of the Government of the Netherlands, reports RBC-Ukraine.

In addition, the Dutch government will allocate funds to strengthen its own defense. To this end, the country's Ministry of Defense will receive an additional 500 million euros from 2028, in particular, to strengthen air defense and purchase more ammunition.

The Netherlands has been one of Ukraine's allies since the start of the Russians' full-scale invasion.

They have already provided Ukrainian defenders with weapons worth more than 2.8 billion euros. The Netherlands will also hand over more than 20 F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
