Bulgaria continues to provide Ukraine with various types of weapons, equipment and ammunition as part of its defense assistance. The list of support package contents is being expanded.
This was stated by Acting Minister of Defense of Bulgaria Atanas Zapryanov, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing Bulgarian national radio BNR.
It is noted that the allocation of weapons, equipment and ammunition is evidenced by the minutes of the last meeting of the interim government in Bulgaria.
A full list of the contents of the new aid package for Ukraine from Sofia is confidential, according to a resolution of the Bulgarian Cabinet of Ministers.
Meanwhile, it is also noted that the aid is provided in accordance with an agreement of the end of 2022, which also remained secret.
The Bulgarian Ministry of Defense had already assured that military assistance to Ukraine would not in any way harm the capabilities of the Bulgarian army.
Zapryanov told Bulgarian journalists that this is the seventh addition to the list of military aid to Ukraine since the beginning of the year. It is also noted that since the beginning of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine, Kyiv has handed over a list of necessary weapons to Sofia.
