WH officially confirms authorization for AFU to use ATACMS missiles

The White House has officially confirmed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are authorized to use ATACMS missiles to strike Russia. This decision was a significant step in supporting Ukraine.
This was stated by White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing Business Inside senior military reporter Jake Epstein on social media platform X.
“They are able to use ATACMS to defend themselves in case of immediate need, and now it is clear that this is happening in and around Kursk,” Kirby said.
He emphasized that the United States has explained to the Ukrainian military what targets can be hit by American missiles.
“We have changed the guidance and given them instructions that they can use them to hit these types of targets,” the White House adviser summarized.-
