Ukraine has received $4.8 billion from the United States as part of the PEACE project. The funds are aimed at supporting the implementation of reforms and the country's recovery.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Telegram channel of the head of the Ukrainian government Denys Shmyhal.
“Ukraine has received $4.8 billion from the World Bank under the PEACE project. This is the largest investment project in the history of the bank, launched to support our country in implementing reforms, social and educational spheres, healthcare, agricultural producers, as well as recovery projects,” the Prime Minister of Ukraine said.
According to Shmyhal, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukraine has already received almost $50 billion through the World Bank mechanism.
“We are extremely grateful to the United States and development partners who finance assistance under the PEACE project,” he added.-
