"Several cable operators in Crimea are turning off the signal because good people have hacked into TV broadcasts," the State Border Guard Service said.

A resident of Simferopol confirmed to Suspilne that cable TV in occupied Crimea is showing videos about the planned counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

There will be no announcements about the beginning of the offensive, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported and called on Ukrainians to keep silent. Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar published a video with an eloquent appeal not to rush to information and conclusions.

"Plans like silence. There will be no announcement of the start," Malyar emphasized.

Meanwhile, US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan positively assessed the prospects for Ukraine's upcoming counteroffensive.

According to Biden's adviser, military actions by Ukrainian forces will lead to the return of "strategically important territory."

"Exactly how much (territory), in what places - it will depend on the developments on the ground when the Ukrainians launch this counteroffensive. But we believe that the Ukrainians will succeed in this counteroffensive," he said in an interview with CNN.
