Armenia thought about the possibility of joining the EU

The Republic of Armenia should think about possibly becoming a candidate for membership in the European Union. This was announced by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan.

He noted that the authorities of Armenia have never discussed the possibility of joining NATO. However, Armenia should think about the possibility of becoming a candidate for membership in the European Union.

"We are ready and will move in the direction that will provide us with the greatest security, and today democracy, being a democratic country, is our biggest security system," Simonyan said.
