Biden dissuaded Israeli PM from retaliatory attack on Iran

During a conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US President Joe Biden said he would not support a strike against Iran in response to its massive attack with drones and missiles.
An unnamed White House official told Axios in a commentary.
According to the portal's source, Biden and his senior advisers are very concerned that Israel's response could lead to a regional war with catastrophic consequences.
Biden told Netanyahu that the joint defense efforts of Israel, the US, and other countries in the region had led to the failure of the Iranian attack, the source added.
"You have won a victory. Accept it as a victory," the unnamed official quoted Biden as saying to Netanyahu.
