China is the main supplier of the Russian military complex

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken criticized Chinese support for the Russian defense industry. He said that Beijing is currently making a major contribution to Moscow's war in Ukraine by supplying critical components for weapons.

According to him, these efforts are fueling "the greatest threat to European security since the end of the Cold War."

"When it comes to Russia's defense industrial base, China is the main participant in this moment. We see that China is sharing machine tools, semiconductors and other dual-use items that have helped Russia rebuild its defense industrial base," Blinken said.

Blinken added that Washington has made it clear to Beijing and others that they should not help Russia in the war in Ukraine.

"China cannot have it both ways. It can't afford it. You want to have a positive, friendly relationship with the countries of Europe, and at the same time you are posing the greatest threat to European security since the end of the Cold War," the US Secretary of State said.

At the same time, the US is actively developing military and civilian cooperation with China.
