China may increase supplies to RF of goods for the making of weapons

China supplies Russia with dual-use goods needed for weapons production. And such supplies may increase in the future.

Vice President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis stated this, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to Reuters.

According to him, the increase in supplies will be related to the fact that the determination of the West to oppose Russia's war against Ukraine weakens.

Dombrovskis said that the EU is working with the United States of America to end sanctions evasion against Russia but did not give details.

According to him, the EU is concerned about China's actions regarding Ukraine, especially recent indications that it is supplying important components to Russia.

"We see that China is sitting on the fence and looking for ways to use this situation for its own purposes, but, unfortunately, recently we also saw signs that China is indeed supplying Russia with components and all kinds of equipment," said a representative of the European Commission.

He added that the equipment was a dual-purpose item and not an actual weapon. That is why it is significant to strengthen the determination of the West to support Ukraine.

Dombrovskis said that if Western countries need to show determination, introduce additional sanctions against the Russian Federation, and provide support to Ukraine, otherwise it will have very negative consequences.

The publication writes that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken will raise similar concerns during his upcoming visit to China.
