Erdogan accuses Israel of intending to "spread the war" to Lebanon

Israel intends to spread the conflict to Lebanon, which threatens to be a major catastrophe. Turkey supports Lebanon and the Lebanese people.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this at a meeting of the Justice and Development Party's parliamentary group, Ukrinform reports citing TRT Haber.
"It seems that Israel, which has devastated Gaza, is now targeting Lebanon... Netanyahu's plans to spread the war to the region with the consent of the West will, frankly, lead to a major disaster," Erdogan said.
The Turkish President believes that Western countries support this intention.
"Although the Western powers speak differently in front of the cameras, we see that behind the scenes they pat Israel on the back and even support it," he said.-
Erdogan emphasized Turkey's support for the Lebanese and Lebanon and criticized the lack of effectiveness of the countries of the Islamic world.
