This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the PACE press service and the Telegram of MP Oleksiy Honcharenko.

"The PACE adopted a resolution "Legal and human rights aspects of the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine" on the creation of a special tribunal for Russia," Honcharenko said.

The resolution proposes to create a special tribunal for Russia on the basis of the Council of Europe's agreement with Ukraine.

In addition, the document states the need to use all tools to prosecute war crimes.

The resolution also calls for the PACE to recognize the Wagner PMC as a terrorist organization.

In adopting the resolution, the PACE stated that the special tribunal established by agreement between the Council of Europe and Ukraine is currently "the best possible option in terms of legal framework and political legitimacy" for prosecuting Russia's political and military leadership for the crime of aggression.
