This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.

"It was scary, we were sitting in the house during the shelling," says 13-year-old Mariya.

The family from the village of Stavky, where 14-year-old Polina is raised, survived the arrival of two enemy mines in the yard.

During the evacuation, the children were protected by an armored car, special bulletproof vests, and helmets worn by law enforcement officers. Both families have already moved to western Ukraine, where temporary housing has been organized for them.

Russian troops continue to attack frontline towns and villages, endangering the lives of civilians. The Coordination Headquarters for the mandatory evacuation of the population under martial law confirmed the decision to evacuate children with their parents or legal representatives from the city of Lyman, as well as the villages of Lipove, Nove, Karpivka and Stavky.

So far, about half of the children have been evacuated, and law enforcement officials are calling on other residents of the area to move to safer regions, avoiding dangerous situations for themselves and their children.
