40 Marders have already been delivered, 20 of them from Rheinmetall and 20 from Bundeswehr warehouses. Rheinmetall is also offering 60 other Rheinmetall machines that still need to be processed. The Marder has been used by the Bundeswehr since the early 1970s. The BMP will be gradually replaced by a soybean-based successor, the Puma. For Ukraine, Rheinmetall is preparing old vehicles to make them suitable for use at the front.

Also, the first batch of 10,000 35 mm ammunition for the Gepard anti-aircraft tank, which is badly needed in Ukraine, is to be shipped by the end of July. In total, Rheinmetall has a contract to supply 300,000 rounds of ammunition.

Rheinmetall also wants to produce Fuchs armored personnel carriers in the Eastern European country.
