Hungarian foreign minister arrives in Minsk to "talk peace" in Ukraine

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Sijjarto arrived in Minsk on a visit.
The minister said this on his page on Facebook.
According to him, Hungary expects all members of the international community to act as quickly as possible in the interests of peace and avoid any steps that could lead to the continuation or escalation of the war.
"This is the peaceful position that I will take at the talks in Minsk today," Szijjártó said.
At the same time, he expects criticism of his visit to Belarus - this is the first time in a very long period that a European official of this level has visited Minsk.
"Obviously, many will attack the visit, but our position is clear: the channels of communication should be open. If we had not done so, I would not have been able to deliver the call for peace today," Sijjarto said.-
