This was stated by IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, RBC-Ukraine reports citing The Times of Israel.

"We are on alert and ready for various scenarios, constantly assessing the situation. We are ready to attack and defend, using the various capabilities that the IDF has," Hagar said.

He said that the head of the U.S. Central Command, General Michael Curiel, arrived in Israel this morning to assess with the IDF Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Herzi Galevi, "security challenges in the region."

"Our strategic relationship with the US military is strong and close. An attack from Iranian territory would be a clear proof of Iran's intentions to escalate the situation in the Middle East and stop hiding behind proxies," the spokesman said.

According to him, in recent months, the Israeli Defense Forces have "upgraded and improved" their attack capabilities and "will act wherever it is needed."

"We have a multi-level air defense that has proven itself during the war with thousands of successful interceptions. But the defense will never be airtight," Hagari added, emphasizing that civilians should continue to follow existing and unchanged Home Front Command instructions and remain vigilant.
