Apr 15, 2024

Israeli President Isaac Herzog called the Iranian air attack that took place on the night of April 14 a "declaration of war".

This was reported by the Times of Israel.

"This is a declaration of war," the Israeli president said, commenting on the Iranian attack.

Herzog noted that Israel is now "considering all options" for responding to the attack, but is not seeking war.

"Now, because we are restrained and because we know the repercussions, and because we have deliberations with our partners, we are considering all options and I’m quite confident that we will take the necessary steps to protect and defend our people. We are not war seekers," he emphasized.

According to the Israeli President, the Iranian attack was another example of how Iran is spreading chaos, terror, and instability around the world.

"It’s about time that the world faces this empire of evil in Tehran, and makes it clear to the Iranian regime that this cannot pass by, that this is unacceptable," Herzog added.

On the night of April 14, Iran attacked Israel with hundreds of attack drones and missiles. Israel said that almost all air targets were shot down, and the damage from the attack was insignificant.
