Kuleba: We would not have lost Trypilska TPP if we had Patriot
The lack of supplies of modern Patriot air defense systems made it possible for Russia to destroy the Trypillia thermal power plant near Kyiv.
This was stated in a commentary to Ukrinform by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on the sidelines of Ukrainian-Slovak government consultations in Mykhailivtsi.
"We are raising this topic... What is there to raise, there is only one topic - give us Petriots! If we had Petriots, we would not have lost all this today," the minister said in response to a question about whether he had discussed the destruction of the Trypillia thermal power plant by Russia with his European colleagues.
According to the foreign minister, this is the key to Ukraine's discussions with its foreign partners - "maximum acceleration of air defense supplies".
