Lithuania is starting a rehabilitation program for soldiers of the AFU

The Prime Minister of Lithuania, Ingrid Šimonite, announced that Lithuania is starting a special program for the rehabilitation of Ukrainian military personnel.

The Lithuanian authorities allocated about 15 million euros to help Ukraine. The funds will be directed directly to the reconstruction of hospitals, the training of specialists, the press service of the Ministry of Health notes.

Shimonite emphasized the need to help Ukrainian soldiers who protect Ukraine and thus Europe and Lithuania.

"Today, Lithuania is starting a special rehabilitation program for wounded Ukrainian soldiers. We will contribute to the development of the relevant infrastructure and services of the three Baltic countries in Lviv, Dnipro and Zhytomyr," said Ingrida Shimonite.

Funds are planned to be allocated from various sources and development programs, so the Lithuanian authorities call on other countries to join the assistance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to help Ukrainian defenders with joint efforts.
