On Thursday, June 1, Moldova will host a summit of the European Political Community. Most European leaders have already confirmed their participation, but it is still unknown whether Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will attend the meeting. According to the publication, Moldovan Interior Minister Hanna Revenco said that information about the possible participation of the Ukrainian president in the summit is not disclosed.
"This information should be classified for reasons of Mr. Zelensky's immediate safety. We respect this requirement," she said.
The Summit of the European Political Community will take place on June 1, 2023, at Mimi Castle, Bulboaca, Moldova.
The event is expected to be attended by 47 presidents and heads of government, as well as the heads of the European Union. Leaders will discuss joint efforts for peace in the context of the war in Ukraine and related crises, the defense of democracy, strengthening energy security, and the resilience of European states.
