The eighteenth military exercise of the North Atlantic Alliance, Spring Storm, ended in Estonia on Friday.

This was reported by the Estonian Defense Forces.

Almost 14,000 military personnel, including conscripts, reservists, conscripts, members of the Defense League, and allied forces from 11 NATO countries, took part in the Spring Storm-23 exercise, which lasted from May 15 to 26.

The exercise assessed the synchronization of the Defense Forces' combat plans, cooperation between levels of command, and the readiness of units to perform combat missions.

The exercise involved hundreds of pieces of equipment: armored vehicles, infantry fighting vehicles, tanks, self-propelled artillery systems, multiple launch rocket systems, airplanes, helicopters, and naval vessels.

Spring Storm is Estonia's largest annual military exercise. During the maneuvers, the Defense Forces practice planning and implementing military operations, as well as improving cooperation between Estonian units and allied forces.
