This was reported by European Truth with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway on Wednesday, April 17.

According to Minister of Foreign Affairs Espen Barta Eide, the total amount of new aid is 745 million Norwegian kroner (almost 64 million euros).

It is noted that the funds will be directed to humanitarian projects in Ukraine through the UN and the Red Cross and are intended, in particular, to provide a roof over the head of people who have lost their homes, help with food and drinking water, as well as medicine for children and internally displaced persons.

The minister added that he was impressed by the destroyed houses he saw in Odessa and admired the resilience of Ukrainians.

"It is our responsibility and our duty to support them in the conditions when they withstand the Russian attacks and try to ensure the normal life of society as much as possible," Espen Bart Eide emphasized.

It is reported that about 6 million euros will be received by Moldova, where tens of thousands of Ukrainians who left their homes due to the war are currently staying.

Norwegian friends, you probably don't understand. We have the opportunity to provide refugees with housing and food.

We need air defense, we need shells. Furthermore, we need NATO troops!
