This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmygal at a meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities.

In particular, he said that the authorities are focusing on three areas in the energy sector amid constant Russian attacks: rapid repairs and restoration of generation and distribution facilities; decentralization of the energy system (120 mini-CHPs have already been installed in Ukraine); and strengthening of air defense.

"The government has made a decision that allows it to finance the purchase of electronic warfare for critical infrastructure facilities," specified the head of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Also, according to Shmygal, the government has allocated another UAH 3.88 billion for fortifications, UAH 2.5 billion for the construction and arrangement of shelters for this year. At the same time, the budget provides more than 40 billion hryvnias to support and restore the country's economy.

We shall remind you that according to Energy Minister German Galushchenko, Russia's goal during the attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure is to organize a total blackout, but the energy system continues to work stably.
