On Tuesday, May 30, unmanned aerial vehicles flew over Moscow. On this occasion, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the city's air defense system "worked as usual."
Putin emphasized that the situation requires additional attention. He recalled a similar incident that Russia faced at its military base in Hmeymim, but immediately noted that the scale of the events in both cases was not comparable. He acknowledged that the country still has a lot of work to do in this area.
The Russian dictator also expressed "concern" about the possibility of a mirror response to the drone attack. The president spoke about the possibility of finding strategies to address this problem.
