RBC-Ukraine reports this with reference to the broadcast of the Kremlin head's meeting with self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

According to him, the strikes on energy facilities are allegedly related to "solving one of the tasks that Russia has set for itself."

"This is demilitarization. First of all, we proceed from the fact that we are thus influencing the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, and directly," he added.

At the same time, the Russian dictator said that the shelling "was a response" to Ukrainian strikes on "Russian energy facilities."

"We didn't even strike for humanitarian reasons in the winter. I mean, we did not want to leave social institutions, hospitals, etc. without power supply," the Kremlin leader fantasized.
