Shmyhal: Slovakia to help Ukraine with demining
Slovakia will help clear territories of Russian mines by providing engineering vehicles and producing them jointly with Ukraine.
This was announced on Thursday at a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Slovakia after intergovernmental consultations, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said, according to Evropeiska Pravda.
The Prime Minister said that Slovakia is ready to assist Ukraine in the humanitarian sphere, including demining.
"We talked about demining in Ukraine. Slovakia is ready to help and is helping. We are talking, in particular, about the joint production of engineering equipment and the provision of ready-made machines for detecting and disposing of mines," Shmyhal said.
He thanked his Slovak partners "for joining a large international coalition to clear our lands of Russian mine debris."
