British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will hold talks with U.S. President Joe Biden next week. They will discuss further deliveries of military aid to Ukraine.
This was reported by Reuters, citing a statement by a representative of the British prime minister.
"Sunak will be in Washington on Wednesday and Thursday next week for meetings with Biden, members of Congress and U.S. business leaders," the statement said.
It is noted that Sunak will make his first official visit to Washington since he was appointed prime minister in October. He wants to mend relations with the U.S. after they have been strained over Britain's exit from the European Union in 2020.
The spokesman for Britain's prime minister added that the leaders will have the opportunity to discuss various issues, including support for Ukraine.
