"You saw: during the last attack, we shot down 16 out of 20 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles used by Tu-95MS from the Engels airfield, which can cover long distances of thousands of kilometers. Today, we shot down 9 out of 9 drones," he said in a comment to hromadske.

The spokesman emphasized that Ukraine itself does not manufacture the necessary missiles and air defense complexes. It depends on the help of partners. Kyiv informed the latter how many and what means it has to deter attacks by the Russian Federation.

"Partners know about the amount of weapons and missiles that we have. And they know that we need help," Yevlash said.

In his opinion, the Russian Federation is now trying to exhaust our air defense by combining attacks by various air means. Moscow has accumulated this resource to use in the latest strikes, he emphasized.
