The Cabinet of Ministers of the Netherlands plans to purchase dozens of Leopard 1 tanks for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This is stated in the report of the NOS television and radio company.
A Swiss company may become the supplier of the tanks. This information was provided to the broadcaster by sources in The Hague. At the same time, the purchase of equipment requires permission from the Swiss government, and this country wants to stay away, NOS writes.
Earlier, Switzerland said that arms supplies jeopardize the country's neutrality. Therefore, the deal to buy Leopard 1 tanks has not yet been concluded. In addition, it is not yet known how much these tanks will cost.
