The President awarded 320 servicemen, 121 of them posthumously

Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded 320 defenders of Ukraine with state awards, 121 of them posthumously.

According to Ukrinform, the relevant decrees have been published on the President's website.

According to the documents, the awards are intended for personal courage shown in defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, the selfless performance of military duty, and loyalty to the military oath.

In particular, by Decree No. 302/2023, the President decided to award 62 defenders, 16 of them posthumously. The recipients were awarded the Bohdan Khmelnytsky and the Order of Courage, as well as the Medal for Military Service to Ukraine.

By Decree No. 303/2023, the President awarded 73 servicemen, 64 of them posthumously. The defenders were awarded the Bohdan Khmelnytsky and the Order of Courage.

Decree No. 304/2023 awarded 69 servicemen, nine of them posthumously.

The President decided to award another 116 defenders by Decree No. 305/2023, 32 of them posthumously.

According to the latter two documents, the servicemen were awarded the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, Danylo Halytsky, and For Courage, as well as the medals For Military Service to Ukraine and Defender of the Fatherland.
