The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Treasury Department has identified 12 legal entities and 10 individuals. Among them are Belarusian state-owned enterprises, a Chinese company that helps the regime in Minsk purchase equipment from the United States, and five of its employees.

In addition, OFAC has decided to impose sanctions on five entities and five individuals involved in a global arms trafficking network that do business with a U.S.-designated Belarusian defense company.

The decision is the result of coordinated actions with the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
