The US and Israel deny involvement in strike on military base in Iraq

The Israeli and US militaries have declared their non-involvement in the strike on the military base of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces near Baghdad.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Central Command of the US Armed Forces on social network X.

"We are aware of reports that the United States has launched airstrikes in Iraq today. These reports are not true. The United States did not conduct air strikes on Iraq today," the statement said.

At the same time, an Israeli official said in an interview with CNN that Israel was not involved in the explosions in Iraq.
