The US restricted the movement of Iran's foreign minister in New York
Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, who is currently visiting New York to participate in UN events, is restricted in his movement around the city.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the briefing of the Deputy Speaker of the US State Department, Vedant Patel.
According to him, the US restricted the movement of not only the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, but also the entire Iranian delegation led by the official.
The deputy speaker of the State Department clarified that the restrictions allow the delegation to move only within a radius of two blocks from the UN headquarters, between the UN headquarters, the Iranian representation in the UN, and the residence of the Iranian ambassador, as well as between the UN headquarters and JFK airport.
