Ukraine reacts to Venezuela's vote to annex part of Guyana

Ukraine emphasizes the need to implement legally binding decisions of the International Court of Justice on the issue of Venezuela's referendum on the annexation of part of Guyana.
RBC-Ukraine reported this regarding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
"On December 1, 2023, the International Court of Justice issued an order for the application of provisional measures in the case of the Arbitral Award of October 3, 1899 (Guyana v. Venezuela)," the statement said.
It is noted that the order obliges Venezuela to refrain from any actions that will change the situation in the Essequibo region, as well as both parties to refrain from any actions that may aggravate or expand the dispute or complicate its resolution.
