Ukraine returns two more teenagers from occupation

A 17-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy deprived of parental care have been returned to Ukraine from the temporarily occupied territories, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, has said on his Telegram channel.

In his Telegram channel said the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin.

"From the Russian occupation, we rescued two teenagers from Kherson. A 17-year-old girl and a 16-year-old guy, deprived of parental care, were returned to the Ukrainian-controlled territory. Now they are safe and receiving the necessary medical and psychological assistance," wrote Prokudin.

According to him, the Save Ukraine organization, guardianship and custody authorities, and children's affairs services worked on this return.

The head of the OVA noted that since the beginning of 2024, 61 children have been returned from the Russian occupation.
