Ukraine to receive four more HIMARS from the U.S.

U.S. President Joe Biden on Friday signed a decree granting Ukraine $400 million in military aid, which includes, among other things, additional HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems.

This was reported by European Pravda, citing the White House website.

As the Pentagon clarified, the new military aid package includes:

four highly mobile artillery rocket systems (HIMARS) and additional ammunition for HIMARS;

• three tactical equipment recovery vehicles;

• 155 mm caliber artillery ammunition;

• explosive ammunition;

• counterbattery systems;

• spare parts and other equipment.

The Defense Department estimates that the United States has provided $2.2 billion in security assistance to Ukraine over the past three weeks, and a total of about $8 billion since the beginning of Joe Biden's administration.
