Umerov in a conversation with Austin: Ukraine needs more air defense

On Tuesday, April 16, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umyerov, had a telephone conversation with the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin. High-ranking officials discussed the needs of our country in air defense.

During Umerov's phone conversation with Austin, the need to strengthen Ukraine's air defense and the plans of Russia's troops were discussed.
"During today's phone conversation, the focus was on the discussion of the enemy's plans and how to thwart them. He emphasized the need to continue strengthening our air defense and providing Ukraine with more shells," Umyerov's post reads.
