US Defense Ministry to purchase anti-aircraft systems for Ukraine

The U.S. Department of Defense has signed contracts with Global Military Products worth $118,375,740. The money will be used for the purchase and delivery of 35-mm air defense systems - Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns.
This is stated in the report of the US Department of Defense.
It is reported that the weapons will be manufactured in Jordan and should be ready by May 30, 2024.
Funds for the purchase of weapons were allocated from a special fund that deals with foreign sales of military equipment.
