Von der Leyen calls on the EU to invest in weapons

President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen calls on the European Union to be prepared for a possible war and invest more money in weapons, DW reports.
The President of the European Commission emphasized the importance of continuing to support Ukraine in times of war, as well as strengthening the defense capabilities of the European Union.
In particular, she called on the EU to invest more in defense to maintain peace on the continent.
According to her, strengthening the EU's defense can have a positive impact on the economy.
“It is important that with the billions we invest, we also create good jobs here in Europe,” added Ursula von der Leyen.
