Deliveries of new weapons and ammunition to the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Western countries have begun to have some effect. The pace of the Russian offensive in the Kharkiv sector is slowing down.

This was stated by the Estonian General Staff, RBC-Ukraine reports citing ERR.

“In recent days, Russia has not achieved success in any direction, or this success is intermediate. However, the Russian Armed Forces continue fierce shelling of the population of Ukraine and its facilities,” Estonia said.

The Estonian General Staff stated that the pace of the Russian army's offensive in the Kharkiv direction is slowing down. Russia continues to strengthen the northern bank of the Vovcha River near the town of Vovchansk and increase its presence in the “buffer zone.”

At the same time, Estonia suggests that due to the build-up of its forces in this region, conditions may be created in the near future for expanding offensive actions to other border areas.

In the Donetsk region, Russians maintain the same intensity of hostilities, expanding the area of captured territories through local tactical successes.

“The main fighting without significant tactical changes is concentrated in the Pokrovsk sector near Ocheretyne and around Pervomayske. Russia continues to exert pressure on Chasiv Yar,” the General Staff writes.

In the southern direction, fighting continues in the Zaporizhzhia region in Robotyne, but the Ukrainian defense is holding. The Estonian General Staff also said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold a bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
