Zelenskyy confirms an AFU strike on an airfield in Dzhankoy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirms that Ukrainian troops have struck an airfield in occupied Dzhankoy.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the President's statement on Facebook.

"Today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a correct strike on the occupier in Dzhankoy on the airfield," the president said.

He thanked the Ukrainian soldiers for their accuracy and the Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, for organizing this operation.

"The occupier has to lose, and each of their losses is Ukraine's strength," the president added.

Last night, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Dzhankoy in the north of Crimea.

Later, sources in the Defense Forces told RBC-Ukraine that the strike on Dzhankoy was the result of successful actions by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
