Poland and Ukraine have agreed on a new military aid package that will include armored personnel carriers, air defense systems, mortars, and other weapons.
This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a press conference in Warsaw by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Yevropeiska Pravda reports.
"We have agreed on a defense package that is very necessary for our soldiers right now. Today, we are signing a document on the supply of Polish Rosomak armored personnel carriers, Rak self-propelled mortars, air defense systems, including very effective Piorun MANPADS, MiGs, and other weapons that we need so much," Zelensky said.
He noted that it is not only about support but also about bilateral cooperation, in particular in the procurement format. According to Zelenskyy, this strengthens the defense potential of both Ukraine and Poland.
