Estonia has decided to transfer all of its 155 mm howitzers as part of the new biggest aid package to Ukraine.
This is reported with reference to the message of the Estonian embassy in Ukraine according to the AFU General Staff.
"We are giving all our 155mm howitzers to Ukraine. And we want to create a precedent in this way, so that other countries are not left with any excuses why they cannot provide Ukraine with the necessary weapons to win the war," Estonian Ambassador Kaimo Kuusk said.
He noted that since the beginning of the war, Tallinn had allocated several packages of military assistance to Ukraine, their total amount being more than 1 percent of the country's GDP.
The Estonian government last week decided to allocate the largest package of military aid to Ukraine at a total cost of 113 million euros. It included:
"In addition, Estonia will continue to provide both basic and specialized training to the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the statement said.-
