EU ambassadors approve new package of sanctions against Belarus

The EU Committee of Permanent Representatives has approved a new package of sanctions against Belarus.
According to Yevropeiska Pravda, the Belgian Presidency of the EU Council announced this on Twitter.
On Wednesday, EU ambassadors reached an agreement in principle on a new package of sanctions.
"This package will strengthen our measures in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, including the fight against sanctions circumvention," the Belgian presidency said.
