The International Court of Justice in the UN in The Hague in autumn may begin to consider, in essence, the case accusing the Russian Federation of the genocide of Ukrainians.

About this during the All-Ukrainian telethon said the agent of Ukraine in the International Court of the UN, Ambassador at large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anton Korinevich, reports UNIAN.

"We filed a memorandum, we did it on July 1. This means that the Russian Federation has three months to file, if it has them, its objections to the jurisdiction of the court in this case. Then the court can proceed to decide the merits of the case," he said.

According to him, Ukraine can hold Russia responsible as a state, as well as specific individuals.
