NATO will be safe when Ukraine becomes a full member

All member states of the North Atlantic Alliance will be truly safe when Ukraine becomes a full member of NATO.

This was stated by Bulgarian Foreign Minister Ivan Kondov, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the press service of the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Kondov took part in a transatlantic dinner organized by U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken as part of the annual session of the UN General Assembly.

At the meeting with his colleagues, Kondov emphasized NATO's key role in providing security in light of current challenges, noting that Allies will be truly secure when Ukraine joins NATO.

He also pointed to the importance of strengthening NATO's eastern flank and security in the Black Sea region, emphasizing Bulgaria's efforts in this regard.
