Russia attacks energy facility in Poltava region at night

On the night of September 24, Russia-backed militants attacked Poltava region with unmanned aerial vehicles. Explosions were heard in the Myrhorod district as air defense systems worked on the targets.

This was stated by the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Philip Pronin, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing his post on Telegram.

The debris of the enemy drone damaged several private houses. There were no casualties among the population.

However, the debris also hit energy infrastructure facilities, leaving 20 settlements without electricity. All relevant services are working to eliminate the consequences. The situation is under control.
