On the evening of September 22, Russians attacked the town of Konotop in Sumy region. Before that, the military had spotted missiles in the sky over Ukraine.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Telegram of the city's mayor Artem Semenikhin and the channel of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“We have an arrival. We are clarifying the details. Water and power banks!” he wrote at 22:10.
Earlier, at 21:24, the Ukrainian Air Force warned about the activity of enemy tactical aircraft in the northeast and the threat of using air strikes.
At 21:32, it became known that a CAB was launched at the Sumy region.
Later, at 21:57, a missile was spotted in the airspace of Sumy region. At this time, air raid alerts began to spread in Kyiv and a number of regions of Ukraine.
As of 22:11, the activity of enemy tactical aircraft continues.
As a reminder, on the night of September 12, Russian occupants massively shelled the town of Konotop in Sumy region. As a result of the attack, people were injured, buildings were damaged, and the city lost power and water.
In particular, the Russians attacked energy and civilian infrastructure facilities with drones. As a result, seven apartment buildings, a private residential building, a medical and educational institution, cars, a garage cooperative, a shop, and a banking institution were damaged.
