Russia will not participate in the second Peace Summit

The Russian Federation has officially refused to participate in the second Peace Summit.

This was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the press service of the foreign ministry.

She called the preparation of the second Peace Summit “another manifestation of the fraud of the Anglo-Saxons and their Ukrainian puppets.”

According to her, they want to “push the absolutely unviable ‘Zelenskyy formula’ as a non-alternative basis for resolving the conflict, to achieve its support from the world majority and, on its behalf, to put forward an ultimatum of surrender to Russia.”

“We will not participate in such 'summits',” Zakharova said.

The Foreign Ministry spokeswoman also repeated the message of Russian propagandists about Russia's alleged readiness for a “political and diplomatic settlement” of the war of aggression and its readiness “to discuss really serious proposals that take into account the situation on the ground.”

Zakharova called the Armed Forces' taking control of settlements in the Kursk region and President Zelensky's request to his partners for permission to strike deep into the territory of the aggressor state with Western weapons “a continuation of terror” against the Russian population.

“We are not going to talk to terrorists,” Zakharova summarized.
