Zelensky met with Erdogan: what the leaders discussed

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The parties discussed strengthening trade and economic cooperation and rebuilding Ukraine.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the President's Telegram and the website of the Presidential Office.

“We focused on increasing bilateral trade, investment and economic cooperation, as well as the participation of Turkish companies in the reconstruction of Ukraine,” Zelenskyy said.

In addition, the leaders discussed in detail the implementation of the Peace Formula, emphasizing the importance of ensuring freedom of navigation in the Black Sea and Turkey's leading role in implementing the relevant clause of the Formula on food security.

Also during the meeting, Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to pay a visit to Ukraine.
