Zelensky on the end of the war: “We are closer to peace than we think”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the war with Russia is “closer to completion” than many believe. He called on allies to strengthen the Ukrainian army.

“The plan of victory is to strengthen Ukraine. Therefore, we ask our friends, our allies, to strengthen us. This is very important. I think we are closer to peace than we think. We are closer to the end of the war,” Zelensky said.

The president also said that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is “afraid” of the Kursk operation. of the Kursk operation because he cannot defend his territory.

“This is true. He is very afraid. Why? Because his people have seen that he cannot defend, that he cannot defend his entire territory,” Zelenskyy said.
